Tina Ingraham receives Project Grant
Tina Ingraham was one of 23 Maine Artists to receive a Project Grant awarded for the 2015-2016 year from the Maine Arts Commission. The Project Grant for Artists is designed to support creative projects throughout Maine. Grant funds assist artists with the creation of new work or the continuation of existing arts programs. Projects can be in any artistic discipline and on any scale.
The grant provided funds for Ingraham to extend the body of work she began in 2010, Dune Evolution, into another body of work that includes two triptychs: Source, Dune, Tree Span is of three 24″ x 50″ linen panels painted in oil, and Circumference consists of three 30” x 48″ canvases also in oil. In its entirety, the body of over thirty works depicts an on-site painted chronicle of seven years of evolving dunes and beaches at Popham Beach in Phippsburg, Maine.
