Tina Ingraham was one of 23 Maine Artists to receive a Project Grant awarded for the 2015-2016 year from the Maine Arts Commission. The Project Grant for Artists is designed to support creative projects throughout Maine. Grant funds assist artists with the creation of new work or the continuation of existing arts programs. Projects can be in any artistic discipline and on any scale.
The grant provided funds for Ingraham to extend the body of work she began in 2010 Dune Evolution, into another body of work, Circumference, comprised of two triptychs: Source, each panel sized 24″ x 50″, oil on linen and Untitled, each panel sized 30” x 48″, oil on linen. The two bodies of work include approximately forty paintings depicting an on-site painted chronicle of seven years of evolving dunes and beaches at Popham Beach in Phippsburg, Maine.
